Time flies after my last entry. I've wanted to blog about my first attempt at rock climbing in Jakarta, my trip to Borobudur temple, Jogjakarta, how I spent my New Year at a lovely friend's house and how the end of 2008 has changed a lot of my thinking about my life and career but someone has stolen all the show. Although she has no name yet, but finally I have my own little niece.
She's born on 7 Jan 2009, on my wedding anniversary date. Now every year 7 Jan is a date to look forward and celebrate :)) I am glad to have shared something with her, after all, we run the same blood... such a wonderful thought to have a new family member. We all will see a little bit of us in her, it's really an amazing fact.
Now I am officially the "Tua Ee" (first aunt) and my sister and cousins and brother will be "Snah Ee" (third aunt), "See Ee" (fourth aunt), "Goh Ee" (fifth aunt) and "Seh Koo" (Youngest Uncle) for my younger brother hahahaha... well it sounds "younger" to call by name though... e.g. Lily Ah Ee... sounds more "chic" :P
The next generation has come. She's the next-generation human beings in 21st century and I am from the 20th century... sounds sooooo old... like 100 years difference. How amazing new lives are created just like that... it just gives us hope that everything has its hopes and new beginning. Problems can be solved, worries can be happiness, there'll be sun after the rain and that's how every issue in life will go through a cycle which will go round and round.
Maybe my niece will change help me change my thinking about life, as bitter as it can be for that second, the next second will eventually arrive maybe, sweeter. And let's just hope that it'll be sweeter and sweeter. Now I'll get to watch her grow up slowly and have fun with her. She'll definitely grow into a beautiful, strong, smart, happy and healthy girl :)
