A feat!

I think I've found the first thing to put in the list for my 2009 so-called things-that-I've-never-done-before. I went to the gym for the third time (yay! it's really an achievement) and sweat for 30 minutes on the machine, burnt 180 calories while having my toothache!!!

Now I feel less guilty gulping down the thick chocolate moist cake provided free by the hotel for long term stay.. yea... I repeat, long term stay. I'll come back to that later.

Sweating out helps to drown that painful toothache a bit... I concentrated my mind on the timer and the calories counter on the machine and kept going for it. I make it a point that everytime I use that machine, I must use it for at least 30 minutes. And as usual, I felt dizzy at the end, most likely due to lack of oxygen to the brain but I am glad to see dripping sweat :P

I will have to gather up all my courage and go for an operation to remove my not-so-wise wisdom tooth, (I've wanted to describe it as a stupid wisdom tooth though) which grew out from the gum horizontally instead of at the right position from bottom up. I've tried all my might to clean it up every day to make sure no food residue is left but it seemed the dentist I met the last time was right. I would have to get it out sooner or later. And now there's a hole in it and it has most likely reached the nerve and everytime I use the tool to remove the food residue, it hurts. When food gets stuck there, it hurts too! Now I don't feel like eating, it just kills my appetite :(((( Now I have to make sure food goes to one side of the mouth and I have to eat real slow to make sure the food doesn't go to the other side of the mouth.... it is really suffering till it is overcoming my fear to go under the knife. Now I'd rather go under the knife than to suffer like this.. I wanna eat well and I wanna eat my favourite food happily again.

I am still stuck in Jakarta and at a crossroad thinking if I should get it done here or wait till I go back to KL. I guess the quality of dentist here should be on par, if not better than KL's. If the pain persists, I'll have no choice but to see a dentist asap!!! Last Friday night, it was the worst pain I've ever had. The pain from the tooth reached my head and both pain beat in sync that I had to toss around on my bed for 5-6 hours. The only thing I could do was to keep praying that the pain would go away. Thank God, the pain stopped at 5am and I finally went to sleep. Every now and then, a sharp pain will come and it will go away after 10-15min.... terrible, terrible experience.

I still can't imagine how the gum is being cut open and worse still, the dentist has to pull out the tooth :(((( but I really want to bite with both sides of my teeth...so I have to go for it!! Mati pun mati lah this time.

And to add another horror story to my life... I've discovered that I am seeing floating dots. I've googled up and found out that this is a condition called Eye Floaters. For more information, you can read up

It makes me realise that I am powerless against age and comes aging, many more aging symptoms will appear :( And the same time, it made me realise how important and ever important it is to have balanced life and work.. enjoy your life because tomorrow may never be the same. Do not neglect the body, family, friends for just money. I realise now I must stay in KL for awhile -- I am really missing all my life back home. I really want to be at home now.

As for this condition, I hope it wouldn't become worse. I hope it'd go away soon and I'd try to have a better lifestyle, to be happier, to do all the things I love doing...and to laugh always.

And oh yeah, when I came back to the same room, 624 in this Gran Mahakam hotel for the 4th time, there's a letter in my room that reads, "Thank you for choosing Gran Mahakam as your second Home"......that's it!!! I've been on this project and staying in area of the world till it's really like second home to me now that sometimes I have feelings
of lost identify, I feel that I am home here instead and KL is my holiday destination. I guess it's time to close the project and it's time to go back to my real home.

So new feats achieved in 2009 so far
1. Working out in the gym for 3rd time straight

2. With a darn bad toothache

3. (To be added soon... Went under the knife to remove my stupid wisdom tooth!)
Update 27 April 2009 : Wisdom tooth is finally out!!!
