Back to work!

I have to consolidate a few postings in one here. Going back home was good, good times really fly. Everyone's well and happy at home and that's good to know. Even Netnet is happy.
Checking out the cat outside the kitchen window regardless of anything on top of that wash area, especially one that may fly and cut him into 2!

Left outside to dry after bath, kesian...

Staring at my dinner! Who says only cats love fish? Dog loves fish bones.

Now I am back in KL and have to drive kilometerssss to work. But after a few days of driving to and fro the office, it feels "ok". Not as bad as I thought because the traffic is more jammed at the opposite direction most of the times. Plus I get to listen longer to the radio [thinking positive...]. However, it's still hard to judge as now it's the school holiday season... wait till January when EVERYBODY is on the road, young and old and especially when more people are richer after they get their bonuses, buy new cars and hog the already overchoked-up LDP... wait and see...

It's so weird to see many familiar faces on my 1st day at work - ex-customers, ex-competitors, ex-colleagues... it still feels like back in the old days... but I am the only one at my new department but the colleagues there are very friendly and it felt much better compared to my 1st day at Siemens.

And good news is that my car may be able to hit more than 600KM on one full tank!!! That's the wonder of long-distrance travelling on the highway. I am expecting it to hit 700KM on my next full tank because the previous full tank wasn't fully used for hitting 80KM a day to work. Depends on how you calculate it, I pump about 44litres and I can go 550KM, i.e. 12.5KM/l and RM0.172 per KM. Now who says Mazda is a petrol-consuming car... These petrol consumption thingy really depends on how you drive - I am light peddlar and I practise fuel-saving driving, maintain good distance from the car in front of me so that I hit the brake less and make full use of the speed!

And I am going to Gurgoan, Delhi, India next Sun! Never in my life would I have imagined going to INDIA, had to check the map out for the location of Delhi. I am sure it's going to be an eye-opener to me!! The weather now would be around 18 Degree Celcius at night and 22 degree during daytime... cool! But the sacrifice to pay is that I had to get like 8-9 jabs of immunisation!!! I just got poked with 5 needles this morning - 4 injections and one blood test!!! 3 or 4 more jabs next week!!! With these, I hope I won't be experiencing any diarhorea, etc there now. It's time to put the health supplements that I've been taken for the last 3 years to the full test!!! My arms are really sore... at 30, another record-breaking event that I've achieved!!!

Okie, I end this post with a nice pic I took from One-Utama this afternoon... it's Christmas! Although I have no "lalang" (meaning relation in Cantonese) with Christmas but since I've been practising Christmas carolling in the office, sang Christmas song in Swedish, got a little bit of Ang Moh influence so this year Christmas is quite obvious that it's there ;)

Taken from my N70, looks much better with own-eyes though :P
It's of Toy Story theme, the big and small soldiers are moving and playing the drums, so are the keys on the piano that move up and down. Hopefully signalling my good year ahead with another Ang Moh company, Christmas is alive!
